Cristian Arango serves as the Chief of Operations for the MBCDC. Mr. Arango is a J.D. graduate from the University of Miami School of Law, where he also completed the Robert Traurig-Greenberg Traurig LL.M. in Real Property Development. He received his B.A. from the University of Florida, holds certificates in Finance & Quantitative Modeling from Wharton, University of Pennsylvania, Behavioral Finance, from Duke University, and in U.S. Data Privacy from the International Association of Privacy Professionals.

Mr. Arango has extensive experience spanning real estate development, finance, and technology governance. He began his career as a Development Intern at Carrfour Supportive Housing, Inc., where he developed a strong foundation in the financing, compliance, and delivery of affordable housing developments. Upon graduating from law school, he joined Atlantic Pacific Communities as a Development Associate, managing the financing and execution of complex real estate projects. He later served in executive leadership within the affordable housing sector before joining Procore Technologies in 2021. At Procore, Mr. Arango advises on strategic finance and revenue governance initiatives, helping enterprise customers and internal stakeholders navigate construction volume methodologies, revenue optimization, AI governance, contractual risk, and data-driven decision-making. His work bridges commercial strategy, finance, legal, and technology, supporting the responsible application of artificial intelligence and analytics to improve enterprise governance and business outcomes.

Mr. Arango continues to pursue his passion and advocacy for affordable housing and community development, and LGBTQ+ rights. And, remains active with the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) as Board Chair for its LGBT Division.
